Compass One Client Dashboard

Compass One Client Dashboard

These days, it seems like there’s an all-in-one option for everything, from vacations to streaming bundles. But have you ever heard of an all-in-one dashboard for your real estate needs? Not just the search, or the paperwork processing with your municipality, but an end-to-end one-stop for everything you need for your next real estate transaction?

In their pursuit of better technology for a better real estate experience, Compass has created an all-in-one client dashboard for all your real estate needs. It’s been a few months since this industry-first platform for real estate agents and their clients was released, and I’m still amazed at all it can do. They call it Compass One. Check out this snazzy video introducing it.

Accessing Compass One

Before you are even sent access to your Compass One dashboard, I curate what content is there to greet you. Then, I’ll send you an email invite and call or text to let you know your dashboard is ready.

I recommend bookmarking the page so it’s quick and easy to make your way back. Then, any time you want to access the site in the future, all you have to do is use your bookmark or click on the link in the email again. You can also always head to compass.com and click on “My Compass” to get back in.

View Property Listings on Compass One

More often than not, you’ll be in your dashboard to look at property listings. The utility of Collections (aka live searches) meets the user experience of Compass One by smoothly and clearly integrating all your active collections in one easy-to-peruse location. If you have multiple collections, you won’t have to worry about the listings getting mixed up together - each collection is organized by itself.

That means, while you’re searching for your next home or hoping to sell your current one, you won’t have to worry about checking multiple collections, emails, or websites to stay up-to-date. The same webpage that has your paperwork, contact information for your agent, and any tasks or tours scheduled has all your listing search results, updated every time you hit that refresh button.

If you’re not sure what a Collection is, or you’d like to start your next real estate journey, send me an email at [email protected]. We’ll chat and talk about Collections, Compass One, and whatever else you have questions about.

View and Download Documents on Compass One

There is a lot of paperwork involved in any real estate transaction. Everything from the Consumer Notice to your settlement statement. When I started, we made six copies and made sure every party had a hard copy for their personal files. Eventually, it got to a point where real estate agents could email important documents to their clients.

Now, you have access to your paperwork right from the portal! With Compass’s technology integrations, you’ll even get a copy of any and all documents you electronically sign automatically uploaded to your Compass One client dashboard. How nice would it have been to have a timestamped log with access to all the documents from your last real estate transaction, especially around tax time?

Track Tasks and Expectations on Compass One

Along with making your experience as seamless as possible, Compass One helps you know what to expect every step of the way. That’s why the Timeline feature of Compass One is in the most prominent place on the page. We know that home buyers and sellers face one of the largest financial decisions of their lives. Now you won’t have to lie awake at 2am wondering what’s happening with that decision.

As soon as you log into your dashboard, you’ll see at a glance what you should be doing to help your real estate process. You’ll also see what I’m doing behind the scenes. Ok, not everything I do will make it onto your dashboard - there’s too much ad hoc during a real estate transaction for me to be able to pre-communicate everything I do for you. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to see all the steps of your real estate transaction laid out on a calendar, updated in real-time?

Talk with Your Agent on Compass One

One of the features I’m most excited about is the integration of Comments into your Compass One client dashboard. Remember how you used to have to sort through property listings to see if any had comments? Now all the comments on listings in your collections will appear in one easy-to-use location! It’s not just my comments that you’ll have at your fingertips, any comments made, including yours, will be right there.

View Contact Information on Compass One

To keep things easy, information about everyone working with your agent on your transaction is included near the bottom of your dashboard, including their company pictures, along with their name, title, phone number, and email address. You can email the entire team with one easy button. Since I handle every real estate aspect of your transaction, I’ll be the only smiling face to greet you on your Compass One client dashboard.

Seller Specifics on Compass One

The Compass One client dashboard is designed to help you focus by showing you all you need to know, and leaving out the rest. That means buyers and sellers get their own, distinct presentations. For sellers, the most prominent thing in the top right of your dashboard is your property. The cover picture, target listing date, target asking price, and more.

Specific sections that Sellers see and Buyers don’t care about include any open houses that are scheduled, insights on your property listing’s performance, and any CMAs we’ve set up to help price your home. Don’t worry, it still has all the communications, documentation, and ease of access features that’s the same for every Compass One interaction.

Buyer Specifics on Compass One

On the Buyer side of Compass One, there are likewise unique features that would otherwise clutter up the dashboard. You have an organized presentation of any house tours you’ve scheduled and a dedicated section for property listings you’ve favorited. If you have multiple collections running for distinct search areas, they’ll be organized so you can keep track of which collection you’re checking out.

Plus, once you are at the stage of submitting an offer, you’ll get a countdown to settlement right at the top of your dashboard and a dedicated section for a CMA of the property you’re trying to buy. If your offer is accepted and we go to the next stage, the timelines kick into high gear so you can see, step by step, what needs to be done when in order to get you into your new home.

Conclusion

In all my years of real estate experience, this is the best tool I’ve seen that’s designed to make the biggest financial decision in my client’s lives easier, smoother, and less stressful. The dashboard can do so much more than I can show you in an article. If you’d like to learn more, reach out to me and we’ll schedule time together. I look forward to demonstrating what Compass One can do for you!
